The introduction of the LTM 1650-8.1 by Liebherr in 2019, as the successor of the great LTM 1500-8.1 presented the perfect opportunity for a new collaboration between Liebherr and WSI Models for the production of yet another large crane scale model. |
Liebherr, well known for high quality and performance set the benchmark for the new 700 ton classes even higher, with features such as VarioBallast® and T3 (54m) / T5 (84m) main boom configurations on a 8-axle chassis with 15- 50% increased lifting performance.
At WSI Models our goal to develop our models as close to reality as possible was truly challenged, therefore we are pleased to announce that our collaboration has led to what we can call our best crane model to date in terms of detail and functionality.
Features of the actual crane such as the VarioBallast® system and various boom configurations are included in our diecast 1:50 scale model of the LTM 1650-8.1. |
